Specialty: Precision Health. Could suit someone with a background in public health, general practice, or endocrinology/cardiology.

Essential Requirements: One of the following: FRACGP, RNZCGP, RACP, FACEM

Purpose  

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic medical leadership and Clinical Directorship for our advanced healthcare system. 

As Clinical Director of this dynamic service, you will be well supported by a team of professionals and together you will work collaboratively to develop the strategic direction and vision for the service, including a robust clinical governance structure. 

We are focussed on information sharing, so with your experience and ideas it will positively assist us as we grow and train our future health workforce and support our model of care. 

The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and be able to clearly demonstrate strategic medical leadership. 

To be successful in this role you will ideally need to have at least 5 years’ experience as a senior GP / Specialist / Consultant as well as team leadership experience, a strong patient-centred focus and enjoy the challenges of preventative health, interpreting health data and creating excellent rapport with clients and the team.

Candidates are required to be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
