ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Opportunity for a Medical Doctor to move into a commercial role in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Will suit someone who is a strong and effective communicator, who wants to move away from the traditional hospital career pathway into the corporate environment, utilising their clinical knowledge and skills.

As part of this growth, there is now a vacancy for a field-based Medical Science Liaison.
About the Role
-Newly created full-time, permanent role
-Primarily Melbourne based
-New product launch in the Cardio-metabolic space
-Clinically focused role working with and developing KOLs
-Provide a reliable, trusted source of unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge.
-Work closely with cross functional team – sales, marketing & medical
-Requires strong scientific knowledge and commercial understanding
-Drive projects from concept to execution
-Conduct medical review of promotional materials
-Act as an internal expert to support staff training
The Successful Applicant
-Medical Doctor, Australian trained
-AHPRA registration desirable but not essential
-Learning agility to comprehend and effectively communicate large amounts of complex scientific content
-Self-directed and able to work alone in the field, effectively managing multiple priorities and projects.
-Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage in professional relationship building and networking.
-Advanced presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification.
-Strong communication skills
