ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated medical doctor with a keen interest in medical analytics to join a small start-up for a large global insurer.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong medical background couple with analytical skills to assess and evaluate medical data to support underwriting, claims, product and pricing functions in life insurance. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a global start up providing key medical analytical capability.
The role will include analysing medical data, using statistical techniques and predictive modelling to identify disease patterns and risks in order to support multiple insurance touch points. The ideal candidate will also be required to stay abreast of advancements in medical science, technology and healthcare practices relevant to life insurance products, underwriting and claims functions.
The candidate will need to be a qualified medical doctor, but not necessarily AHPRA registered. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation would be ideal.
A competitive salary commensurate with experience is offered. The role is based in Sydney CBD and hybrid working is available.
