ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a Medical Practitioner currently working in clinical trials or looking to move into the industry?

Veritus Research is an exciting new clinical trial business, delivering innovative medical trials to volunteer participants. In March 2024, Veritus Research will be opening a state of the art, purpose-built, First in Human clinical trials centre in Bayswater Victoria

We are looking for medical practitioners with varying degrees of experience to join a brand-new medical team, led by Medical Director, Professor Stephen Hall.

We are looking for full time and part time staff, who can work a rotating roster covering shift and weekend work.

If you are new to clinical trials, this is an opportunity for you to gain experience as a sub-Investigator on our trials, working towards Principal Investigator responsibilities.

What does this role look like?

The Clinical Trial Investigator will work with the Veritus Research Operations Team to provide every participant, who has been consented and enrolled into a clinical trial, safe and effective person-centred care. They will ensure that the rights, safety, and wellbeing of these participants are respected and protected. All delegated study-related assessments and activities assigned to them are to be performed in line with protocol requirements and within all local and international regulations and guidelines. You will be supported with experienced Investigators, Project Managers, and Registered Nurses to fulfill the role’s requirements. You will need to meet all training and professional development requirements as required by your role as Investigator, and employee of Veritus Research.

A key part of this role is to maximise trial participant numbers through accurate clinical assessment and a robust understanding of trial protocol and maintain a high quality of clinical performance as determine via a peer- and supervisor-review process.

What do we want from you?

– Medical Practitioner with Unrestricted General and/or Specialist Registration with AHPRA
– Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
– Australian citizen or permanent Australian Resident
– Meet the requirements of Good Clinical Practice training within Australia or willing to learn and adhere to these requirements.
– ALS training will be provided
– Flexibility to work across a 7 day roster
