ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Coal Services Health (CSH) offers a 7.25 hour workday which will give you plenty of time to enjoy the lifestyle offered in our various locations.

As a Medical Officer at CSH, you will assist employers to manage their workplace health risks through the provision of a range of medical services including Medical Assessments (as per NSW Coal Order 43), reporting, referrals and advising coal mine workers and their employers on current and emerging occupational health issues.

About you:

Qualifications recognised by AHPRA as suitable for registration as a medical practitioner
Minimum 4 years’ post internship relevant medical experience
Sound clinical skills
Current NSW driver licence and willingness to travel for workplace, educational and operational duties
Willing to learn the relevant coal industry Acts and Regulations and how to perform statutory medicals
Must be willing to reside in, or travel frequently to our offices in either Singleton, Mudgee or Lithgow
