What to expect:

Australia’s largest medical media group, The Medical Republic, is looking for a GP to help oversee the integrity of our daily clinical news reporting. The starting role only requires a GP to be available 1 hour per week to attend our weekly clinical meeting, listen in and offer governance and advice to our team of clinical reporters on our clinical stories. Our team will also be able to contact you from time to time when they have an issue on a story where they would like GP input and oversight. The Medical Republic group is looking to expand the role moving forward, depending on the fit with the GP in this starting role, to a broader function of oversight and advice around more general issues affecting GPs and general practice.

Ideally the applicants should be a practising GP (part time if fine), a member of either the RACGP or ACRRM, have an interest and track record in keeping up to date with the latest in clinical innovation, news and trends for general practice, and an interest in working in medical media.
