An Innovation Partner is passionate about actively shaping the future of Healthcare delivery in Australia and Roche’s contribution as partner in the Healthcare Ecosystem. As a stimulator and connector, they actively drive projects and initiatives to scan and identify internal and external business ideas that have the potential to improve the patient/ customer experience. As a networker, they scout for potential partners within and outside the Healthcare Industry. As an architect and problem solver, they bring structure and methodology to further develop, scale and implement these business ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defines, runs and continuously develops projects and initiatives to scan and identify potential business ideas internally and externally
  • Scouts the external market for potential partners and solutions within and outside the Healthcare Industry
  • Builds long-term partnerships with public and private stakeholders that can bring benefit to patients
  • Facilitates the idea prioritization and resource allocation process by focusing on bringing value to customers/ patients
  • Facilitates the idea generation and implementation process by providing fit-for-purpose structure & methodology

Who you are:

You are degree qualified within science or related field with experience in executing projects in digital healthcare (preferred).

You have 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar or related role, preferably within the healthcare industry.

With your solid project management skills, you have effectively led cross-functional projects of varied sizes and types concurrently, fostering strong connections between individuals, departments and external networks to encourage new ideas and leverage existing knowledge within our organisation.

Having demonstrated experience in design thinking or similar methodology techniques to develop ‘outside-in thinking’ and customer insights, you are able to manage and evaluate portfolio data to support strategic decision-making and the go-to-market process.

With your excellent relationship building, influencing & communication skills you are able to make commercially effective decisions regarding innovation strategies and implementation. With strategic agility and strong business acumen and focus on customer, you can clearly identify and prioritise initiatives that will have the greatest strategic impact on the organization.
