Required – civilian General Practitioner working with the Australian Defence Force, delivering important clinical care to those who serve – Army, Air Force, Navy.

The Southern NSW barracks located in Wagga Wagga (Wagga – Airforce, Kapooka – Army), is currently looking for civilian GP’s. Full Time and Part Time position/s with FIFO/DIDO available (including travel costs/allowances). Generous remuneration, sign on and retention bonus offered. All offers/conditions will be considered including Training Registrars close to Fellowship (must be within 1 year of obtaining Fellowship and having sat and passed OR booked to sit final examination).

It is a niche patient demographic – generally young, fit healthy adults who need to maintain their health and fitness in order to continue service, therefore no Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Geriatrics or multiple medical conditions.

ADF offers a multi-disciplinary team environment including Dental, Mental Health, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy, as well working alongside Serving Members who are also health professionals.

Mandatory pre-requisites are to hold Australian Citizenship and 2 years’ full-time experience within the last 5 years in a Primary Care/General Practice environment (Training Registrar time included for GP clinic rotations).
