At Nutromics we have a vision to create a world with zero preventable deaths due to the lack of timely, molecular level data. We are looking for a passionate and curious Chief Medical Officer (CMO) who is up to the challenge of revolutionising healthcare and bringing our vision to life.

Our CMO will be responsible for providing clinical insights and strategic direction for the company’s revolutionary Continuous Molecular Monitoring (CMM) platform. Success will rely on leveraging your existing US contacts to build an ecosystem of strategic partners including world-leading hospitals, researchers, and clinicians. The CMO will provide leadership and direction for all clinical, scientific, and medical activities and be a thought leader in digital health and connected diagnostics.

Working collaboratively and continually challenging the status quo, the CMO will help establish the company strategy and drive the product pipeline through expert advice and development of clinical evidence.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked, or is currently working, in the United States and has an established network of clinicians and providers.

Qualifications

  • A medical degree with minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience is required
  • Board-certified MD or prior board certification is required
  • Specialisation in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Oncology, or Cardiovascular diseases is preferred

Skills and Experience

  • Able to engage with medical and scientific experts as well as clinicians across multiple specialities and lead discussions to identify unmet clinical needs.
  • Work experience in a hospital environment.
  • Be able to forge effective alliances and partnerships with providers and leaders in healthcare systems globally.
  • Medical device experience is preferred.
  • Experience in clinical research along with an understanding of product development processes, global healthcare market trends, and clinical trial regulations.
  • Proficiency in scientific/ technical communications including dissemination and ability to influence and drive thought leadership from a medical/clinical perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CEO, the CMO will serve as the senior medical and scientific leader for Nutromics, accountable to ensure the integrity of company decisions and programs across the product portfolio and through all aspects of the product development lifecycle
  • Establishes long term product development opportunities, identifies unmet medical and clinical needs for R&D programs.
  • Develops and designs impactful evidence generation strategies while providing Medical, Clinical & Scientific insight with a focus on patient safety, innovation, and economic value
  • Ensures strategic focus on market clearance/approval, reimbursement, market access and market development.
  • Leading engagement with regulatory bodies to validate alignment between clinical strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Anticipates industry trends, understands clinical/medical insights, unmet medical/clinical needs to deliver innovative products/solutions.
  • Develops clinical trial protocols and ensures safe execution of clinical activities and programs.
  • Leads and ensures support of clinical scientific discussions with global regulatory authorities
  • Identifies, builds, and manages an advisory panel of global key opinion leaders and medical experts to help shape company strategy and develop clinical evidence in support of products.
