Submit a Presentation

We are looking for contributions from the breadth and width of the medical community to create to the biggest and best program yet.
Through the online process please provide information regarding your proposed presentation or session. There are no formal guidelines for submission.
A few notes:
  • Inclusion in the program will be at the discretion of the Organising Committee, along with the format and duration of the session/presentation.
  • Any costs associated with submission is the responsibility of the applicant.
  • Presenters allocated a program spot will receive complimentary registration to the event, but all travel, accommodation and associated costs of participating in the event / preparing the presentation or session are at the presenter's expense

CCIM Foundation Memberships launched in January 2020 and include a number of special member only benefits in relation to CCIM 2020.

Event Information

Registration Fees

Tickets to CCIM are sold in releases. Each release contains a certain number of tickets at the specified price point or until the specified end date of the sale time. All ticket prices listed are quoted in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.

  • 1st Release: $399.00
    CCIM Foundation Member Pre-release tickets. Foundation members are sent a special discount code with their membership confirmation to use at registration check out. 

  • 2nd Release:

    $499.00 (Early Bird Ticket - Event Registration Only)
    $599.00 (Early Bird Ticket + CCIM Membership)

    Offer expires 30 April 2019 or when ticket allotment is sold out.

  • 3rd Release:

    $599.00 (Event Registration Only)
    Offer valid until tickets sell out.

  • GOLDEN TICKETS: Follow CCIM social media accounts for information on "Golden Tickets" - free or heavily discounted tickets to the event.

  • DISCOUNT CODES: Event Partners from time to time may have discount codes available for a limited number of tickets to use at their discretion. Discount codes cannot be applied to tickets already purchased.

Medical Career Planning Workshop

On Friday, 26 June join Dr Ashe Coxon for an interactive workshop looking at the ways to navigate the maze of career options open to health professionals. This workshop is open to very limited numbers and will include a pre-event personality test and analysis by Dr Coxon which participants will refer to during the session. The session will look at:

  • Common traits that predispose a doctor to career uncertainty and workplace issues and strategies on how to address these traits
  • Personality traits common to doctors who experience uncertainty and workplace issues
  • The role of values in deciding a future medical career
  • Examples of some non traditional or creative careers that can be pursued by doctors

Tickets for the workshop can be purchased through the registration process and include the half day session, pre event testing, lunch and afternoon break catering:

  • Workshop alone (4 hour workshop) - $249
  • Workshop + full access to course Discover - $329 (RRP - $648)
  • Workshop + follow up 45 minute individual career counselling call - $399 (RRP - $598)
Accommodation

Special accommodation rates have been secured at the Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach for CCIM attendees of $229 per room per night. The following rates can only be secured whilst booking through the online registration process.

The Standard Room is available in King and Twin (two double beds) configuration. It can accommodate up to two adults and two children. Please note in the registration process your requirements. Upgrades to Bayview Rooms, Bayview Suites and Bayview Terraces are available upon request, please contact the event team for pricing. 

The quoted rate does not include breakfast, but a full buffet breakfast is available for $25 per person, per day in the Baygarden Restaurant.

Notes:

  • Hotel Check in after 2pm
    Hotel Check out before 11am
  • Luggage can be stored onsite with the hotel after Checkout
  • The hotel requires a credit card imprint form each guest upon check in to cover an incidental charges that are the responsibility of the guest

Parking:

3 levels of car parking is situated beneath the hotel (access via Bay Street and Princess Street) and offers underground parking and direct lift access into the hotel lobby and conference rooms. 

Self parking is available for day delegates and in house guests at a reduced rate of $15 per car per day (12 hours) or $25 per car overnight.

Event Sponsorship

Event Terms & Conditions

TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION AND/OR ACCOMMODATION

  • If you purchase a CCIM ticket and are unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person without penalty (transferring between a member and non member though will incur a charge of the difference in registration fee)
  • Accommodation bookings can have a name change up to 48 hours prior to check in without penalty.

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION:

Registration cancellations will be accepted up to 21 days out from the event, with the following refunds being applicable:

  • Up until 3 March 2020: 100% refund of paid fees 
  • From 4 March - 3 May 2020: 50% of paid fees
  • From 4 May 2020 - 4 June 2020: 25% of paid fees
  • From 5 June 2020: No refund will be given from this date.

Refunds will be processed minus associated booking fees and charges (credit card and merchant facility charges incurred - both purchase and refund transaction costs).

CANCELLATION OF ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS:

Accommodation bookings can be cancelled up until 30 days out from the event. Inside 30 days a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the booking value will be applicable. Where a cancellation is unavoidable within 30 days the organisers will try and resell your room to avoid penalty, but no guarantee can be made.
