Creative Careers in Allied Health

Create a health career you love

Creative Careers in Allied Health (CCIAH) is a community of health professionals who believe a health career should be whatever you want to make it.

Stepping off the established career track can feel paralysing and risky – regardless of how far you have travelled. The reality is that traditional health careers are not right for everyone. For some, they can lead to places that leave you lost, unfulfilled or feeling burnout.

That is why many health professionals are re-imagining their own futures. In taking that leap, they are sparking new opportunities and career paths not yet considered.

By providing inspiration, support, resources, and access to experts who have been there and done it, CCIAH aims to help the wider healthcare community towards personal and professional fulfillment by:

Keeping healthcare professionals working in healthcare and striving for greater career satisfaction

Encouraging a healthcare culture that embraces, supports, and empowers healthcare workers

Sharing learnings across specialties and exposure of new ways of working/careers

Providing a platform and community to problem solve issues affecting the healthcare community

Encouraging innovation in healthcare delivery and how multidisciplinary teams work together for best outcomes.

Providing a space to explore, gain support and expand the career possibilities for healthcare professionals

Creative Careers in Allied Health is run by a small, dedicated group of volunteers who manage a health profession only Facebook group, arrange regular events such as Q&A sessions with health professionals taking the road less travelled. Below is the schedule for the 2020 CCIAH Q&A webinar series.
